In class, we briefly discussed Elon Musk’s recent breakthrough with Neurolink. I found it very interesting how this could potentially be a turning point for mankind that one would only see in some cyberpunk films or video games. The fact that this technology could potentially cure blindness and allow paralyzed people to walk again is crazy to me. However, I do feel that we as a species should be careful developing these technologies as we don’t know the side effects or what companies will do to make a better profit off the technology.
